I recently made some teacher appreciation gifts, and got inspired to do some touchups around our house.
This is what I had to start with...
I got out my paint stash. I have a lot of greens and blues but I didn't have the exact color of green I was wanting, so I had to revert back to elementary school.
What makes green...well yellow and blue of course. So I mixed a few colors together and came up with the perfect color of green...
Money saver tip: I started using coffee filters to hold/mix my paint. I have a ton of these things since we don't use them in our coffee pot (we have the basket that holds our coffee grounds). So glad I kept them. Now I have repurposed them.
