My 1st Mother's Day

What a difference a year makes...

Last year, I looked like this...

Just for the record..this picture makes me tired just looking at it :)

And this year...

I had such a fun and relaxing day.  Justin (and Briggs) did good and made me feel special all day.  Justin made my coffee in the morning, let me take a long nap, Briggs took a really long nap, we watched a movie, went to church and my guys took me out to dinner.  They each gave me a card, some candy, lots of kisses and hugs, and this new rug...

 My in-laws were in town and tried to take us to the Olive Garden for dinner on Saturday but there was a long wait, so we had to go somewhere else.  They gave me a gift card to go some other time..DATE NIGHT :)

 I have such sweet family and friends.  One of my dear friends sent me a card for my first Mother's day (THANKS CELESTE), my parents and then my two guys.  

I just wanted to share what my dad wrote... "Hope you have the best most relaxing day.  If I was there, I'd wash all the clothes, cook all the meals, clean the entire house and take care of Briggs...so you could rest and relax all day.  Since I can't be there would you ask Justin to take my place"
 Oh Dad...always makes me laugh.

Oh how full my heart is this Mother's Day.  I feel so grateful to the Lord for blessing mine and Justin's life with Briggs.  He is such a joy and I LOVE being his mommy!
